I'm confused... Weren't our LUV trucks sold in Japan? I figured they would be more prolific in their home country. Troy, weren't you on the hunt for original Japan parts/documentation a while back?

yes they were BUT being in Japan they would be Right hand drive from the factory, instead of left like american trucks, so either thats an american luv of he modified to to be RHD

I understand about the left hand drive being an import or swapped but what I was really confused about is that implied rarity of the LUV truck in Japan.

One of the reasons I ask this question is because I work with a guy that spent a few years in Japan in the service about 20 years ago and he said he never saw a Luv truck running around. His conclusion was that they weren't sold in Japan and were only built for export. I find that hard to believe but then why are they so rare in Japan???
