72 luv thing

Hello luvtruck.com ,
I just rescued a 1972 luv truck from a field in Vista Calif , its in need of some TLC and a bath . I almost got it running but it will need a little wrench time . It needs a few items ...
a, the tail gate is missing
b, rear window is missing / a piece of plastic has been installed
c, minor rust on a few spots , but no real bad issues
The best part is it was free , and from the first owner . I look forward to spending the next few months getting it all redone and ready for its new life as my commuter to work .

Welcome. Free is always good! I wonder if it had a shell or camper of some sort on it at some point. That would explain the tailgate and window being gone.

As far as a tailgate goes, a 72-74 will work. The 72 is different then the 73&74 as it has round indentations for reflectors.

I had it towed to Oside , spent a whole day cleaning it out . pressure washer etc... still have some work to do
