alright...... really dumb question... so if i was to hook up a fuel return to my new weber 32/36 where the heck would i be hooking it up! its a brand new weber. it has a fuel inlet on either side at a 45 degree angle on top of the float bowl, and has one other hole under those two thats bigger diameter.

so would i just hook up another fuel fitting to the other 45 degree fuel inlet or where does it go??? i dont want to let it build back pressure in the line when its sitting at an idle in traffic.
and i figure the fuel pump is designed to run at all times and with no fuel return line its going to try to keep flowing.

any information on the subject would be appreciated. such as.... where to find the fuel return fitting and where the heck to put it!!!

There is no return fuel line for the Weber. Hook the fuel line from the fuel tank to the Weber and the old return line needs to be blanked off or the fuel will siphon its way back from the tank.
The fuel pump will stop after it reaches it's working pressure.
You can install a fuel pressure regulator and adjust it to 2psi for better fuel and float control.
Part#31800.063.
The only dumb question is one that hasn't been asked.

I'll look tomorrow on one of mine that I have a return line on and I think it hooks up to the larger outlet under the two up top and it will make your pump last longer.

i hooked my fuel return up to the other fuel inlet with a 90 degree fitting angled upward a bit so lines level is higher than the float bowl to keep my fuel from going in one end and out the other. not sure if thats the ideal spot but it seems to be working

okay got it figured out...
the throttle was being held a bit too far open and the timing was a bit off. so even when the adjustment screw was out of contact the gas was still being opened. intake had a LAKE of gas in it so i let it burn that off and got it all adjusted and did the timing by ear till i can get ahold of my dads timing light. :ebiggrin  truck flys now
thanks everyone who gave me tips on getting it fixed :!:

I'm running mine on the stock pump with a regulator set at about 4 psi and no return line. You might try that.

I installed a fuel filter that had a single inlet and a dual outlet. Round steel Fram I think. I hooked the return to the extra outlet, and it works great. Except it will siphon back and not start after sitting more than a week. But as long as I fire it up at least once a week, it's fine.
