Has anyone used the power by ace headers?

Hooker
1 3/4 tubes
18 gauge
5/16 thick
$440 from Summit

Power by Ace
1 5/16 tubes
16 gauge
3/8 thick
$380 from Power by Ace

I need to buy some headers. What do you guys think?

i've had my hookers for 15 yrs with no problems but it depends on what your plans are for the truck.

You mistyped. The A.C.E. headers are 1 5/8"primarys, under chassis style.

I'll probably just end up getting the hooker headers. Lots of people are using them and have had no complaints.

What motor mounts are you using? If you are using the power by ace mounts, hooker headers wont work. I found that out the hard way. I had to go buy the hooker mounts.

I gotta tell you... the motor mounts are cool. They bolt right up to where the stock ones were.

For what it's worth I used the Power by ace motor mtns and they fit perfect and would have used their header but the engine I built needed larger tubes, It's all according to what engine your building and where you want your torque to be. What size tubes is on the block huggers?
