Hi my name is chris, I live in lytle texas, I bought this truck in april. I paid $250 for it, then paid $50 to get it towed to my house, once it was at my house i did some tinkering on it, changing points,coil,ect........

Anyways once i got the truck started it was knocking really bad, and smoking white smoke like crazy.

So i removed the head and i found 3 bent valves, took it to the machine shop.

That is my favorite color that LUV's had. I think it is called shannon green? Are you rattle can painting it? When you paint the dash tray you may want to use the Duplicolor bedliner spray that you used on your tailgate. I used it on mine and I am very pleased with it.

They did come in green but mine was blue when i got it and i sanded it down the i primed it washed it the painted it with grabber green engine enamel once it dryed i gave it about 2 coats then i shot a clear coat over it....i think it look good for a rattle can job...... anyways thanks so much for the comments keep on with them i like to hear good and or bad feed back and if you have any idea that you think i should do let me know i will condsider it.

Idea i had before was to take the cab and bed off this frame throw it onto a s10 frame/toyota fram and put 12 inch of lift 36/15.50/16 tires on it with a chevy 377 stroker.....but then that got thrown out when i found out my gf was having a baby
the [aint job was gona be duke of hazard style also lmao!!! would have been sick.....anyways thanks again!!!!
