Got the new radiator the other day. Did some more work th the bed. Sanded it all down and rolled on the bed liner. Got a new piece made for the rear valance. The piece that goes under the tailgate. Kind of ties the bed sides together. Will get more pics up on my days off.

havent posted for a while. the luv has pretty much been on the back burner due to the summer heat. for the past month or 2 its been over 100 at 10 am and im sure if youve read this thread then you know how much i hate not having a garage or carport at all. well i am going to build at least a carport so i can get my truck in some kind of protection from the weather and will make it easier to work on.

on a more positive note, i picked up yet another engine. this 1 i ran the numbers on and it comes up as a 70 - 73 camaro, california built 350, with stock 200 -300 hp. i tore it completely down everything moves well, except for 1 cylender which has a small amount of rust. talked to a reputable shop here in town and they said cleaning, inspection and boring it will only cost around 200 bucks so im pretty hopeful now that i have a good builder. i am hoping to bore it no more the 30 over so it doesnt run to hot here in the desert.

dont have any new pics but now thats its starting to cool down a little i can start trying to tackle to rusted out parts which tankfully arent that much just mainly in front of the drivers fender.

ok well its been a while since i updated. :signimsorry

just wanted to say that thankfully the luv is still in my possesion, money was getting tight there for a while and wasnt sure if i was going to be able to keep it, but now things are looking in the better direction so i should be able to start doing some work on it again.

have made a decision, i am going to put her on the road how she is for a while so i can remember whay i luv it so much and when i can i am going to send the engine to the shop to get it cleaned and bored out a little, and send the tranny to the rebuilder and then i will just have to find a computer for the 4l60e that i have then she goes back under the knife to finish it up.

the only thing that i have done is mount the new radiator in position, so all i gotta do is match up some hoses to get her runnin.

didnt have to cut anything to put radiator in actually if i would have measured better i would have gotten the 19 by 24 raddy and it would have fit just fine. oh well this 1 will do nicely
