Well it would appear as if im in need of replacing my head gasket

but i have a 1973 g180

first time owning a pre-74 chevy luv and i was told that this motor has duel timing chains

if so is the head gasket the same??????

and if not where can i find one, im not luvin the new luv its making me miss work

i raided a 72 in the junk yard today and got some decent parts

the procedure is similar, but the BEST source of information is going to be a factory/chassis service manual. Ebay is your best friend in cases like that.

1972, 1973, and 1974-1975 are three different engines. Be sure to get 1973 stuff (i.e. a head gasket, timing set) if that's the engine you have. That said, you can usually use the NAPA or Kragen website to check if part numbers match up for different years using the same gasket.
