i am currently working on this swap. i used the luv bearring instead and built a spacer so they fit. my question is did you have any problems with the bearings not going on far enough to get the keeper on? The hub seems to wide.

The luv bearings where to small to fit the toyota races properly . Your spacers are for Luv bearing races to toyota rotors ?

Thats actually what im in the process of doing right now. Just swap the ENTIRE spindle/hub assembly over. I'm using an 87 Toy Hilux p/u assems. The lower balljoint was an exact fit. You just need to ream out the upper hole to fit the luv ball joint. I have a good set of Snap-on carbide hone bits that did this in a jiff. My one issue to work past is the tie rod wants to go in from the bottom up, so I might dig some outers and inners up that have an adjustable sleve between them. 60s-70s chev car front ends have the tie rods im thinking of.

Did you us a 10* or a 7* on this and the toyota is a 5 4.5 right? thank you Jason

Attempting to to the Toyota spindle swap at the moment using a dhp upper arm as my lower ones still haven't been sent and not sure if I will ever get them. Problem I'm having is the lower Balljoints don't want to go in to the spindle. The Balljoints is facing downward and the taper on the spindle shows the Balljoints should be facing up. Any ideas on where I'm going wrong? Has me stumped. Using belltech drop spindle part number bel2000

DHP usually uses the Chrysler style joint, and you will need to ream the spindle to fit. Post up a pic of what you are working with...
