I just saw your pics. Nice find. You got some work to do, but it looks do-able.

I'm not sure on the spinning a bearing but it would be best to go ahead and rebuild the engine anyway since it was sitting for 10 years which means the gaskets are probably shot. I got a full rebuild for about $150 which includes all gaskets, oil pump, bearings, rings, and timing set.

They should fit, if not, trim.

I think you should just go ahead and sell the truck to me. For a little bit of profit.

I like to put Mystery Marvel Oil in something like that. Just me... It helps lube everything. Quiets hydraulic lifters and such things. I know the Luv doesn't have hydro lifters, but you get the idea.

putting marvel in there could cause a problem since its been sitting for so long. if the gaskets are not bad right now, which they more than likely are you just are not seeing signs yet, they will be bad for sure after marvel. the reason why is because of the detergents marvel has in it and they will break up any residue that has built up around the gaskets which could eventually lead to a leak. so i would go ahead and rebuild the engine which is almost always the best thing to do. just my opinion though.
