Swapped a case of beer for another Luv today, it's like no other Luv iv'e stripped for parts before. Id tags say its a 78 Chevrolet Luv, its fitted with a G series crossflow engine and 4 speed tranny with shifter on the steering column. Its got the early 4 h/light front and newer bumper and valance. In the cab its got the older style oval gauges and chev emblem on steer wheel, the seat is a moulded 2 person style bench seat running on stock sliders. The tailgate has ISUZU in raised letters. The brakes are drum front and rear with boosted mastercylinder.

Had to make room so dragged a old stripped out Luv i had off to the hole in the ground, removed the wheels, diff, front upper and lower arms, steer box and spindles before pushing it in.

Next weekend im going to pick up a 4X4 1980 Luv complete with running C190 Diesel engine, was a daily driver till the clutch wore out. New clutch and pressure plate sitting on the passengers seat, owner was going to fit the clutch but convinced his wife it was to costly and time consuming and bought a newer truck instead.

Yeah i'd have a dozen or more complete parts Luvs at my house if i had the room, thankfully ive got a large w/shop so im just stockpiling all parts except bare frames and stripped out cabs.

never hurts to have extra parts man ive got 2 parts cars for my 68 El Camino and 1 for my 80 El Camino. pays to have a good size shop dont it?
