Im going to go with a 4-link. Going to build new crossmember behind the cab. Next step is to cut out the cab. The driveline is sitting on the cab.

Triangulated. I'm going very easy with the build don't want to take away from the old style of the truck.

Looks cool! Don't just junk your '72 year parts if you get rid of them as a lot of them are 1 year only and hard to find, post them up on here for sale. Especially if/when you swap engines.

Cool. I cruise eBay motors fairly regularly, and lately they've had a lot of NOS stuff that looks like it came out of the back of a dealership parts department. Pulleys, fuel pumps, distributors, and other miscellaneous parts and some for 1972. Just nothing I've needed for my 72.

The only thing I am really looking for is of course the dash pad and I would love to find a good headliner also one of those radio speaker pod things that goes on the headliner. I think they are amazing. If not one of those I want to find a stock radio to put back in it. My plan is to just bag and body drop it, but leave everything else the way it is rust and all.

Now I am looking for some help I am trying to mock up my 4-link but this is my first time bagging anything. I need some help on how to measure everything so I get the correct pinion angle and everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What made you decide to replace the entire rear chassis? Just like to know the thought process. Thanks.

I didnt want to cut all teh crossmembers out and make all new ones with the stock frame. So now I get to make everything I want, and the way I want it to be.
