If you're looking for weld in mounts, go to Summit as they had the Hooker kits. For bolt in mounts go to www.powerbyace.com. Also you can find them on ebay occasionally.

ive noticed the powerbyace items are cheaper in price. that doesnt always mean quality. has anyone used these parts?

because if they hold up well ill save myself money and still weld them in for extra safety.

hooker header part # 12606HKR just to save some time ....

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Strength can be achieved by making a part bulky with lots of metal or with proper engineering. The adapters are approx the same thickness of material as the bracket they bolt to and the frame. I've seen blown 400+ CI inch engines on those adapters with out fail. Frame twist became the problem.
Email tech@powerbyace.com for detailed info on adapters.
