My wife used the LUV to go to work today. She came home a few minutes ago and told me I had better make sure that truck runs like the other ones I had. It seems she didn't like getting the doors blown off on the way home. Now this puts me in a difficult spot. Do I keep looking for that 2.6/2.3 hybrid swap or do I go with a good Chevy 4.3 V6 or even a V8? She sure looked ticked when she got home and sounded like it too! Is she setting me up? Why can't things be easy????? I NEED SOME ADVICE HERE GUYS AND GALS!! HHHHEHEEEEELLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!

I still think I am being set up for something. What does she want from me? I have to get this figured out! I may have to get an engine around January to show her what I will put in the LUV AFTER I get my '53 Ford F100 on the road. Of course if I do get an engine, freshen it up and let it sit on the engine stand just might push her to letting me drop it in the LUV a lot sooner. :D Since not much can happen this month due to Christmas, I will have to think about this. I hate thinking. :esad It hurts my head!
Just dang aggravating as I am one to work something up and stick with it. Now I may have to change my plans on the drivetrain. At least I don't have the hybid engine yet so it will be a bit easier to change my mind (or is it for HER to change my mind)????

Sounds like she has placed an order for a LUV with some muscle... Image

It is your duty to comply. Image

What she is setting me up for is she'll probably want me to wear a cape and mask again!
I have been thinking and listing what I should go for and have come to the conclusion, she hates me!
Actually I am looking at going back to my original plans of a Chevy 4.3 V6. Hey Mytymouz, I PM'd you. What do you V6ers suggest for a cam, intake, and carb for a blend of performance and economy? No matter what engine, I plan for a 700R4 tranny and HEI coil and distributor. Well let me know and I now have to go repair my milling machine I just broke again!!!!
