I have an aerospace 11 3/4" disc brake system coming for the front of my luv. I will be having a 9" built in the very near future and wouldn't mind disc BUT everything I find is 11" disc.

Anyone running this type of setup? It doesn't seem like there is enough difference between the front and rear to correctly bias the brakes and stop the truck correctly.

that wont matter,

if your going to run a disc disc system then just insure that you get the correct porportioning valve.

A wilwood adjustable unit will work just fine for what your doing. but on a note, you should never run without a porportioning valve even if it is disc drum.

The brakes being close to the same size won't matter...

If your going to run the 5 on 5.5 lug pattern that's on the 9" just use the front brake rotor from a suzuki samurai same bolt pattern and while your at it use the caliper also, Just make you a plate out of 1/4" plate drill holes to match the caliper and weld to rear housing. Home brew stuff. 8O

What I have on mine is a set of 2000 Silverado front rotors (12" I think) they are 6 LUG and weld on brackets from speedway motors http://www.speedwaymotors.com/GM-Weld-On-Flat-Mount-Standard-Caliper-Brackets,3348.html $9.99 each and they are 5/16" plate with s10 front calipers. If you want an e-brake speedway has calipers with those also.
