Hey, CTmandu, I waved as we drove by this morning the 23rd. You didn't wave back. :D I'm up in Milwaukie for a couple of days. Also looking in the Rogue, Medford, grants pass area as a possible place to move to.

I picked up some wheels from craigslist today, 15" by 8" not sure what the offset is. The front ones stick out by 1.5". Do you guys think that they will look retarded?

From what I remember the holes lined up you had to bend a chunk of sheet metal into a L and cut a piece of pipe to elevate one side. ctman made them.. perhaps you can buy a set from him.

here it what i had when it was in mine...for the drivers seat...made brackets so it would line up with the holes for the bench seat. then made a spacer for the inner rear mount... then a spacer for the front inner part of the seat...the pictures don't show the front inner spacer but its just like the back one just a hair longer...

Pulling it apart for paint. Doing priming and body work now after that I might take it to a shop and let them finish it. I'm going to redo the exhaust while the bed is loose. I also need to replace the floor and front panel of the bed.

If any one has a set of step side mounting brackets for the rear bumper I will buy them. The normal bed is about six inches longer than the step side and the rear bumper is extended from the frame by long brackets.

Screw those wheels, to gangster for my taste. Plus could you imagine trying to steer the f-er with big-a tires and no power steering. The good news is that my friend is building a 4x4 and he wants the wheels.

I sand blasted the rest of the paint off the step side and decided to pick up a different bed. Just to much work. If any one around Oregon wants to buy that step side toss me a email. We are trying to buy a house so the truck is low on the priority list now.
