 Post subject: lowering front end,

i know to losen the bolts on the underside of the framerails but do i need to jack it up first??? if anyone could lend a bit of advice i lowered my truck a long time ago and the guy i sold it to raised it back up so now that im in posetion of it again it needs to go back down!!!! this time for good!!!!

It would make it easier to turn the bolts by jacking it up. Takes the load off and less chance of stripping one.

Also remember to count how many times you turned the bolt one one side, that way when you go to do the other side you know how many times to turn it to keep everything level.

depending on how low you want to go you will need to remove the bump stops

It changes the camber and you need to have it realigned.
