Just wanted to post some other pictures of the truck and it's progress. I haven't been working on it much since I'm getting married the first week of August and just lost my job of (5) yrs. I just lined some of the sheet metal up and documented the bolt locations and shims needed. I just cut the old core out and installed the new one So I wanted to make sure that all the locations and panels still fit nicely.

yep. I would go with more backspace if you are going to do. I had a trim the front fender lips to get the truck to lay down with out smashing the crap out of the fenders. A nother note don't let anyone tell you to run 20" on your truck. If I b/d my truck I would have to cut the hood and fab ugly fender wells to cover the hole. The damn 20" wheels and tire are almost to big for these trucks. I've see 19"/20" combo's that look great. If you decide to go a diffrent route i would look into a 18" or 19" MAX for the front. just my 2 cent.

For it to lay in the front all you need to do is Z the frame 1.5" and pie cut the upper control arms.

It can be done this way or dan's way, I think they are just looking to do what is easier and not cut the frame.
