litemup do you have ur truck together with the coil overs and what pd spring are you using? my mtruck sits low low and kinda feels to week to support the weight of my 6.0 with 250 lb springs!

I have the motor and all in just don't have the fenders etc on and no raddy. I will tell you it sets very low in the front with the 250 lb springs but I also have the springs completely lowered on my adjustable height shocks. I am thinking about threading the springs up on the shocks to raise the front some.
my headers ihave on the truck do have around 4 inches of clearance on the bottom but when all is said and done I think driving on the street could create a problem once I everything back on and myself in the cab.
You might want to think about going to a heavier spring if your height is not adjustable on your shocks.

I just like the low stance in the front as long as it doesn't drag

we are about to put our eyelet mount on for the coilovers I have the QA1 dr3855 which is 11 1/8" and compressed 8 5/8"

we already took out the plate in shock tower and notched around to get shock to fit

but I have a :?: to mount it do you have to move the mount outward or where do you want the top to sit? I see litemup has an inch out towards tire but are those the same model shock?

and I am using the eyelet not the stud conversion

I have the engine out as well

Thanks in advance

James

I used the stud mount on mine. If anyone needs the eylets for them I still have mine. They were 32 a piece ifi rember right but would let them go cheap. I doubt if I will ever use them.. The reason I moved mine out the coils would bend in when trying to use the origianl hole because the springs hit.

Still looking for my perfect Luv to built for the street. 2 wheel drive, my old 307 sitting in the garage to use,an afforable not rotted out donor and my 700r4 tranny and 290 gears in the rear. Will it get milage for a driver, YOU BET

MERRY XMAS EVERYONE

i didnt move mine out but it is fine havent drove yet but looks fine to me. my coilover does not hit at all not even when i compress it. i cut the top out and then boxed it in and drilled a hole for the bolt. redid bottom to might have moved it a little but every thing clears fine!

ok I gotcha yeah just making sure. Cause they are already at the extended length and you should be able to mount them as is correctly.
