I submit to all of you this question: what are some specific search terms which can be plugged into Ebay, Craigslist, etc which give good results on parts for our trucks? Of course you can type "LUV" into Ebay motors, but what about terms which help direct towards other parts interchangeable? I can think of "G180" for example.

There are a few of us on here who seem to always find the good stuff...wanna share your methods?

Along the same line of thought: Does anyone know of a way to open a craigs list search to go nation wide. I can only do a search to one place at a time Oklahoma City, Dallas etc.

Please pardon, I don't mean to highjack your post eln1972luv

not at all, that's the flavor I wanted with the post. For Craigslist, you can type this string into Google (without quotes)

"Chevy LUV site:craigslist.org"

and it will give you search results for chevy LUV on a site ending with craigslist.org, so it covers a lot of them. Probably not the most exhaustive method but it does work OK. Replate 'Chevy Luv' with the term of your choosing; I think the argument 'site:craigslist.org' will keep the results confined to craigslist only. Suppose it would work with eBay motors as well.

Keep the search terms coming

This from PapaG on another thread, let's you search ALL US CL listings. There is the option of only choosing certain states, cities, etc. It's pretty trick. You have to download a couple of ActiveX components to make it work in Firefox, I think.
