hey all im new to the site i pulled a 77 luv out of an oldtimers feild for a hundred buks i always wanted one and i finley got one any ways the head gasket was blown i took it apart and discovered it was milled below min and had 2 gaskets to make up for it i have been looking for a new head but cant find one if any one has one or knows where 2 get one it would be verry helpfull thanks . i also need a dash and the passenger door handle :ebiggrin

Heads are tuff to come by. Look around E-Bay or sooner then later one will pop up here. Forget about a dash, they have been out of production for years and the only aftermarket maker quit making them.

There are companies out there that still stock rebuilt heads. Since its an Isuzu engine, the Imark or PU heads will also work.

Or wait for eBay. I see them on there every once in a while.

At that Heads Only link also look under 'GM' for Chevy LUV head [but only 80-86 shown there].

thanks Bigbub for the links i ordered a head on fri there going to ship it mon and it should be here on thurs . ordering it went a little to easy so i hope it all works out i will post another reply when i get it in . thanks again for your hepl
