Here's the 76 stepside I picked up for my wife.
Got her home yesterday and will start going through it today.
Wasn't sitting there 20 minutes and already had 2 offers to buy it. :D

Thanks guys!

The truck in the background turned out to be a guy coming over to buy a transmission from me.
He was the second person that wanted to buy the LUV.

It's gonna be alot of fun/work,but the look on Mama's face when I pulled up with her new LUV = Priceless!! :D

Well,I tinkered with it the other day and got her to fire up.
Runs pretty good but doesn't want to idle,go figure.
Then moved her around just a bit and sure enough,the automatic tranny was leaking out the front.
So,after pulling the engine and tranny I discover that the transmission is beyond repair.
Also on further inspection I found number 4 plug cross-threaded and a really bad valve cover gasket job.
The plan now is to get an entire new drivetrain out of a donor vehicle such as a Pup(gotta have the A/T) and rebuild the 1.8 for a backup for my LUV.

I've got the frontend and doors off and have started the cleaning process.
