Anything can be done with a torch, welder and a little imagination and know how

well my thoughts were to lay the frame and there is al ot more suspension options front end wise i could go with and the back i was going to cut it off and put a custom four link. i was going to do the v8 but with gas going up and not down i think i might make it a cool dd and stick with a newer 4. if its not to bad and things line up well it will help with the z06 wheels i have to put on it

Not sure but if you are not doing the v8 it could work. Luv frame is a lot stronger and you could swap in the rear end very easy but the front end would be a lot more work.
Would be neat to set the luv on an s-10 frame and have all the 5 lug setup stock. Lots of ptions as you say.

like litemup says with a torch welder and imagination any thing can be done.i have a buddy that has a luv bed and cab on a toyota 4x4 chassis looks factory.also theres many s-10,s and luv,s both running around with v-8,s so i dont see why the v-8 swap couldnt be done.brandon says the luv frame is stronger i dont know,i do know the s-10 frame is heavier.if it was me i would go with the bigger engine v-8 or atleast a 4.3 v-6 if it's not going to be your only ride.if it's going to be your only ride i would do a 4 banger.why are you wanting to use the s-10 frame over the luv frame.you can 5 lug the front and rear of the luv for your z06 wheels but the s-10 does have way bigger wheel wells.i have an s-10 at my place now im working on 4 someone and it's been lowered 3 inches front and rear and still has more wheel well room than my luv has.if this is something your wanting to do go 4 it i dont see any reason it wont work.
