any body ever see one of these,it looks like a mini 55 or 56 chevy , ill try to post pics of it , kinda cool , i thought about trying a v8 conversion but it looks like alot of work .

Saw several of these on the roads in Cairo, not too many years ago. Also the Opel Kapitan, similar but a bit larger. There was one for sale in Beaverton, OR a couple of years ago and the same thoughts went through my mind. It had been sitting on it's knees so long, there were no rockers or floors. The rest of the body was perfect. :(

They are neat little cars, and remind me a bit of the Hillman's my dad's friends had in San Diego in the early 70's.

If you can pick one up, why not stuff a turbo'd 4 banger in it? Or the Zetec(?) that ctmandu has been talking about? For that matter, might an Isuzu 1.8 fit? I know where you can get parts for them... :ewink :lol:

we ve got one sittin in the yard , floors are all good , the rockers are rusty , i just havent decided to mess with it or send it to the salvage yard up stairs , for the most part the body is really good , glass is perfect , and have all the chrome for it
