 Post subject: Tachometer Install?

Anyone ever install a tachometer? My 78 doesnt have one and Im not sure how to install one. Im buying new guages to replace the OEMs and I want to know if its possible to do or not.

my friend bought one from knechts and it was pretty simple. much easier than rewiring a complete truck

here is what i used for mine... go down to tach choose he one you want and a PDF file will pop up with instruction

I know this post has most cetainly been answered but when i had a tach on my luv it was a sunpro and all i had to do was run the green wire (signal wire) to the posative side of the coil, ran the power wire to the power wire for my sterio, ground to one of the mounting bolts for my steering column, and the light wire i wired into the connector on my dash for the dash lights, works pretty good for me...
