Aaron you would be fine with a blow through setup. We are in the process of putting 8psi on my sons stock 76 truck using a T3 on a custom manifold, you don't need an intercooler till you get up over 8psi, but we are fabbing up a cooler. If you are serious let me know, I can send you some pics of where we are so far.

If you got the 4x4 then your luv will also have the larger flywheel, keep in mind the measurements and look into mabye something for a pu'p/trooper i know they a got a way bigger aftermarket than there is for the luv, also might try asking farmer joe if i remember right a while back he was saying somehting about a clutch disk that is made for a 4x4 that he runs in a 2x4 dont quote me on it but im pretty sure he was the one talking about it...
Also the stock bottom end is quite rugged, the crankshaft and connecting rods are tough and if you ever get a g180 apart they look pretty beefy...

:edit: I almost forgot the only way i would thing that you would wanna use the G200 head is if you planned on running ALOT of boost but 5psi should be find for the stock engine, i wouldnt think you would have any problems
