Has anyone used standard chevy headers in a swap? The reason I ask is that I ordered http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM%2DG9006&N=700+4294908216+4294840116+4294889107+400304+115&autoview=sku before I thought about whether they would fit or not. I am putting a 327 in a 79 luv.

I have block huggers and fit but tight. Some others on here have them also. Have to take my steering column loose to get the driver side in.
Looks as if the ones you ordered won't fit. My opinion only the hookers or the way to go for the luv swap. Not sure they make them new anymore. I had a new set but sent them back about a year ago. Wished i hadn't.

What do you have for exhaust now? Stock GM full size truck ram's horns work ('69-'72?), if you don't have any other options. That's what I'll be using.

Here's PN's, just in case :D

3866183 LH3 GM, Driver's side
3905364 RH11 GM, Passenger's side

Good luck, let us know what you end up using.

I currently do not have the engine in the truck, but i guess I will see if they can be sent back because it will be another couple of months before I can even get to the mockup stage.
I am planning on removing the torsion bars and maybe that will give me enough clearance
