The frame on my truck is not cut . Chassis flex is not a big issue with these trucks as they have 6 cross members . The core support is cut and bent so it cradles the bottom of the radiator it is isolated from the core support by fuel hose . There are also tabs mounted from the radiator to the strut rod crossmember . The top , where the hood hinges mount , was cut back and the top of the radiator was mounted with angle iron . There is approx. 1 1/2 " between the fan and radiator . I had to move it forward 3 times to get the proper distance . But it is easier to cut more metal out than it is to add metal back . I cut the factory rad mounts back to the C channel on both side . If you put the new rad up to the old hole it will be easier to see what has to happen . Also the brace that goes in front of the rad in one of my pictures in now gone also . It is the one behind the bumper . Hope this helps . I might get some better pics tonight or tommorow .

O.K . I see the pictures without the fan are of my first setup with the electric fan . They give you an ideal how I mounted it . The last picture is my current setup with a flex fan . Again i'll try and get some current pictures .
