I am trying to figure out what size 15" tire to run on the back of my truck and wanted to ask if a few could post pictures of the rear tires on their Chevy Luv along with the size of the tire so I can make up my mind. I am thinking about a wider tire than the front but not sure. Thanks!

I've tried a lot of different combos under my truck and if you're talking about stock frame rails and tires completely tucked under, I think this is about it.

295/60-15 radials (if you can find them) but most likely 275/60-15 radials are more common... OR
28x10.5 MT Street Drag...OR
28x11.5 MT ET Street

This would be on a 15x8 Weld Wheel for example and depending on what rear end you are using, a 4.5 to 5.5 rear space.

I found a place out here in Bellflower that can make and or rework wheels. They supply all the Long Beach and Pomona swap meet sellers.

My buddy has a 65 Chevelle and with the stock rally wheels , (15") he still had 2 1/2 " of space for tire on the inside. So he had a set of rallies reworked with a different off set to tuck the wheel under the car and now he can put on a wider tire.
He got 15 X 6 rally wheels, new with a special off set ( I don't know the measurement) for $80.

Here's my ugly butt:

Image

Stock S10 rear with 15X10 Centerlines and either 295 or 305 50/15's. They stick out a couple inches, but ill get the frame and rear end narrowed one of these days.
