i have a72 chevy luv!!! how do you get the trans high enough so you wont have to mod the firewall!!! i'm trying to put ina turbo 350??? was thinking about taking the read tranny mount out fro the camaro and put it right on the replacement tranny pad o nthe frame will that work???

Are you using the stock frame mount for the trans? I tried to use mine but I had to cut it in half and lower it to where I wanted and re-welded it. Hooker Headers also has a bolt in trans mount that you can get from summit racing to save some time.

I do have one if you are still looking for a bolt in hooker mount for a turbo 350. I bought a parts truck and it had a SBC / turbo 350 kit in it. Don't need (2).
