Ok, I've driven cars with HALF the cc's of these with more pep! Our 1.8 engine in our 81 Luv runs just fine, it just gutless as all hell! I mean, come on, don't Miatas have just a 1.6 liter engine? The are like a bat outta hell comepared to these. WHY are these Luvs SUCh dogs???

There must be SOME way to pepe 'em up without an engine swap! Does anyone know?

30 year old technology. The search option can give you some tips on swapping to the G200, carb swap, a Delta cam, header and such.
