You can, but it can be a pain. I had a spool in a 67 ss Chevelle, I had the skinny front tires, about 5,000 miles a set. New outer tie rods about 12,000 miles or so.

Yes you can i run a mini spool in my truck, but you have to be careful cornering as tight turns will eat up the tires and always make sure you don't punch it while cornering as it will get ugly instantly.Just use some common sense and you can have fun.

I have mini spool in mine also like TJ said watch tight corners especially on pavement. I run MT sportman pros so they give a little bit in corning. My main gripe is taking a long curve at highway speeds it starts pushing like fat bitch in a buffet line. :D

Thanks guys for the info. I ran across what I thought was a fair deal ($150) on a 9" with 411 gear and spool, guy was running it in a S-10 at the track. Thought I might try to make it work in my luv, 327 5 speed. Thanks again.

At that price, I'd grab it, you can always find a posi later.
