I have a 79 luv 4wd and after its warmed up I have lifter noise at 45 and above,also the oil light comes on when i slow down is the pump weak maybe.
I would also like to know american made 4 poper will fit in it without a lot of chances

Are you sure that it is lifter noise(G-180s don't have lifters) :?:

From your description of the noise and the oil light coming on i would say that what you are hearing are the rods knocking ( i could be wrong) and if it is QUIT driving it as you will blow it up big time and destroy it. Put a mechanical gauge on it and check the oil press.,another way to test is to rev the motor up a little then do several quick throttle blips and liston if you here it rattle IT'S bad.
