Is it common for the ignition switch to turn with a friggin common screwdriver or pocket knife?

Mine does, and I just discovered this early this morning when my wife walked out to go to work and found my LUV running with the passenger side door ajar..... 8O

Found the ignition turned on and a small reg. screwdriver on the front seat.
