Welp(sorry to revive the old thread but it's the same topic, no?) The player i had finally broke last spring so in june i got another crappy cassette player from my dad that had no Bass/Treble controls on it, just music. This had a plus to it though, it came with a box with 2 6x9's in it

, but both speakers were in 1 box and were too deep, installed the player and hooked it up to my little 4" speakers i had, sounded OK but I wanted more, so we cut the box inhalf with a hacksaw and used a skillsaw to cut some off the back so it would fit behind the seat, hooked it up and sounded great! But when the bass hit it dimmed the display

, so i knew the speakers were too big, so last saturday i was gonna go and buy a $250 PBgun and about $120 in accessories for it, didn't happen so I took a trip to best buy and got this
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7044067&type=product&productCategoryId=cat03066&id=1099397002981 , it's so awsome and had it installed the next day, and the guys that did it installed it in under 15mins., it sounds sooo good, and it's got plenty of bass. I also burned a CD of some "bass testing" music, just music with LOADS of bass, this thing shakes the insides (and gives your butt a nice massage from the 6x9's).
But ya know, i hope it don't get jacked like others have, and we've got people keying cars at school, mine better not get touched.
