I ran across this on Ebay. Looks like they are machining down the drum and sliding over a disc rotor. While none listed for a LUV I found Scarebird's conversion very thoughtful. Sent an email to them concerning LUV's. It would be nice to know of the right pieces to do this type of conversion. But one would still need the backing plate.

look at the toyota 2 wheel drive rotors a little machine work and you have a vented (lighter) 5bolt (4.5 Ford) rotor,add a 1/8" spcer to the calipers and TaDaa your done

got a reply to my email I sent Scarebird. Their answer to my question of working up a conversion for a LUV was ' $600 plus a spindle and drum and about 6 months of time'. I suppose a person could do the R&D if they had a good friend in a parts man.
