most are done on a luv but some are not but they will give you the idea on how to do it

Do you know if the kit they are talking about for T-tops is still availiable or is there another kit for luvs?

Those t-tops where made using to original top and cut out. Also a place called Pacific T-tops use to make kits using what looked like the Hurst t-tops from the 70's like out of the Monte Carlo. I have a set from a Monte Carlo that I might try to put into mine one day and here is what I have on pacific t-top don’t know if its still good or the right place any more if you call let me know what you find out

The v8 install article looks just like the installation in my truck + or - a thing or 2. All this time I was trying to figure out what the motor mounts came from since the rubber is wasted and I am trying to get my new motor in. Thanks for posting that stuff.
