Now i have been wondering about sway bars for the Caddy-LUV. I was looking at calmini and they make front and rear sway bars for Troopers. Now if memory serves the front sway bar was the same on my 90 trooper. As far as the rear goes ill have to fab up mounts and modify stuff anyway so im not too worried. But do you think the front would be a direct bolt on?
Yes i want a truck that will do at least a 13.5 1/4 and handle well too. And yes i know ill wrap myself around a tree a week after i get this done but ill die a happy man... 8)

Actually i never noticed there was a rear one, I wish they made a rear one for the 82 (they only make a 1" front) I wish there was a way to make the suspension a little softer too, i've promised never to take my girls anywhere in my truck... unless I get my interior redone first, I really need a car. I really want one of those AWD talons, or a MR2 or older supra.... something with balls.

I think it's around 5/8", or at least on my truck it is.

A stock Luv sway bar is 21 mm dia. A mid-80s Trooper sway bar bolts up but is only a bit larger, 23 mm.

If you're doing it up right, Finalman's Addco bars are sweet. I'm too cheap to put $500 bars on my $900 truck.
