For years I've wanted a day/night mirror but never did anything about it. So the other day I'm at PicknPull and snagged one off a mid-80s Trooper. The thing snaps right into the Luv, no tools required!

C'mon sucker, put those brights on behind me. I'm ready now.

I don't know if I ever confirmed it on here or not, but my 77 has had one from a Trooper for almost 3 years years now. I'm not totally happy with it though, it picks up far too much reflection from the rear window for my taste. It also tends to pick up the ceiling when in day mode. You have to keep the rear window clean or it gets really annoying. The one off the 88 Impulse I have will fit as well. I recommend pulling the bracket with the mirror though, I had a lot of trouble snapping the mirror into the LUV's bracket. I think the trooper bracket has a little more slack in it.

Just FYI, when pulling these, push them forward to pop them out of the bracket, there is a little tab on the front (toward the window) of the mirror side that will break if you pull away from the window to get it out.
