This is kind of a strange question, but how much lift is there in the 2wd torsion bar front suspension? I know it'll slam down pretty low, but I'm thinking of going w/ a nose-high "gasser" look w/ my Studebaker.

*edit* Woo hoo- post #100. Watch out MEPR, I'm gunnin' for you.........

oh man i better watch my back... :P
As far as the 2wd T-bars go, im not 100% shure. I know you can get 3" out of the 4x4 bars but the 2wd guys are a somewhat softer rate (i think its 20lb per inch, ill look in my manual when i get home). I realy think the only way to see how much you can get is just by doing it. I dont recall ever seeing the 2wd members lifting thier trucks.

Got some project pics posted here-
http://forum.olskoolrodz.com/gallery/sh ... ppuser=951

Its "on hold" at the moment, but hopefully after Christmas I'll get going on it again.

As for the lift, I wish I had measured it when I got the chassis. The bars were cranked all the way up. The PO had a 3" body lift, rear air shocks, & 31" tires. I guess I'll find out when I get the chassis back in the garage if no one knows before then.
