I recently put an electric water pump on my truck. Caused a new problem, where to put the alternator. Where do some of you V8 guys have yours mounted. I have found only 1 good spot. The headers are in the way almost everywhere. I have to make sure I can get a belt small enough tho. It's only going to be about 14 or 15 inches long. Anyone with a V8 considering an electric water pump, if your alternator is on the pass. side, don't get a Moroso, it's just going to make new problems for ya.

I am currently using a modified low mount bracket. the only problem is there is no adjustment on it so I had to bump the belt on and its very tight... probably too tight.

Image Well I cant see why runnin an electric w/p would make you have to move the alt. but you can get all these brackets at any parts store.Not a great pic, but I think you get the point.
