Unfortunately there is no pre fab kit for a suspension lift for any LUV 4x4s. All the 4x4 guys I've talked to end up having to do everything themselves. Thats what I too originally started looking at and after learning what it was going to take, I've decided to ditch the whole front end set up and go to a solid axle and lift it then.

Does it stand to reason that, since our trucks are made by Isuzu, we should be able to use suspension parts intended for Isuzu? If so, I know for a fact that Calmini makes torsion bars that may be able to fit. These would provide an increase in spring rate as well as the ability to "crank" them more, to achieve a higher lift with less rigidity. Just my .02

I guess you could look into that if you wanted to pretty much keep your stock suspension setup. You know that you can crank the torsion bars up a bit right now, right? I just think it all depends on what it is you want to accomplish. Also remember that most LUV parts were listed through Chevy.

I personally like the IFS setup. It provides for inexpensive, easy and flexible modification. Go to http://www.swayaway.com to get the part number for the Luv (we are listed) and then to http://www.calmini.com (or someone like them) to order your upgraded bars. Again, just my .02. Also, I know that parts are listed under Chevy, but I was just stating the observation that, since our trucks are built by Isuzu for Chevy, the parts for Isuzus may be interchangeable. I'm just out to find out which ones are.
