 Post subject: an S10 bed?
PostPosted: Sun Dec 19, 2004 2:47 pm
Hi guys,
I know Ive written about this before...but I must ask: If you cant use a 1500/silverado bed on the Luv because it is simply too wide..could you use a 1982 S10 bed? They look much smaller in size by pictures, but Ive never seen one in real life as Im in Aussie and there are very rare...Heres pics:

I'm just curious- why not find a stock LUV bed? I think it would look good w/ some wide dually-style fenders if you run that kind of rear axle. My daily driver is an F350 Ford dually w/ a flatbed, so I would vote for keeping that cool bed thats already on your LUV & swapping a dually type rear under it. :D

But to actually answer your question- in all honesty, I don't think an S10 bed would look good either. It'd most likely still be a little wide, though only by a couple inches or so.

well...I personally hate the tray I have on the back at this moment...Dont like the looks at all.
This is my friends Luv truck...im not sure if this is an origional tray or not...but it looks...'ok' to me

But then again, Id rather a tray from an S10 because I like the look of it better..
The only reason I go do silly things like that is because I like the Chevy 1500/silverado/S10 looks...but I cant afford one...so If I could afford something that actually says "chev' and it looks like what I want from the behind...why not?
