RatnLUV did a great swap and swapped out the front suspension. I can't remember what his site was, but it looks great.

I don't want to swap out the suspension. I was just wondering about shocks. What kind, or what weight type. I know the stocks werent made to handle the weight of a v8, so I was wanting to know what you guys thought for shocks. Thanks

The ones that are on my v8 Luv look like the original shocks. All rusty and crusty and very small.

I just went to NAPA and asked for "heavy duty" shocks for the LUV..... Its not a major diff between them and the regular in price, but seems to ride better....

i had the stock shocks and they did fine with v8, but i got some new ones.. i dont know what brand they are.. there blue and are gas shocks, was like 80 for 4 shocks. there better cause it made suspension a lil stiffer so the tire dont rub as much up front

I used 3 way adjustable Comp Engineering drag shocks (like $30 each) for an early Nova and just added some shock extenders to them. they work like a charm
