i heard a whie back form someone that you can put toyota 5 lug spindles on a luv. is this true? if it is can some one tell me what year of toyota to get the spindles from. i would really like to have cragars all the way around.

with that being said the 5 lug toytoa conversion is not that easy. It involves welding in ball joint plates for the new ball joints or welding up the end of a upper and lower toyota control arms to the end of your isuzu upper and lower control arms.
you will also be welding on the toyota tie rod ends in place of the isuzus. Its close but from what I've heard the tierod end of the job is pretty easy.

all in all its not anything like a bolt on application, but if you have some fab skills and triple check your suspension geometry before welding it all up there should be no issues.

i bolted toyota pick-up spindles on 1980 luv, lower balljoint fit nicely,top balljoint was different. i opened balljoint hole in top controlarm & drilled 4 bolt holes & used toyota top joint. steering is different issue. i have a lathe & think i can make a bushing & make it work. will let you know later.
