Just went to the local Pick-A-Part in Ontario on Millikin. They had 3 LUV's there.

One was an 80 that was in good shape. Someone already grabbed the bed off it but there plenty still there, fenders, doors, front valence, complete drivetrain, complete front end, etc. The hood and front bumper are in pretty good shape but not perfect. The doors have holes in them for the mirrors but are straight.

Most of the interior is still there too.

The other LUV's are a 72 that's pretty complete but kinda beat up and rusty, and a 75 or 76 that has been picked over but still has the drivetrain.

Not really, the one in the 80 isn't too bad but it's not that great either.

I didn't find what I was looking for. I wanted two front turn signal lights off an older LUV. I did grab the two lights off that 80 so I'll probably use those instead. I have to make a bracket for them.

I was going to do that tomorrow but today my alternator took a dumb so now I get to work on it tomorrow instead. The nut came loose and now the pulley is all chewed up.

Before the race next week I have to add a kill switch and fill two holes in the firewall.

I'm not sure, but i believe someone posted before that you have to damn near destroy the dash just to remove it. Bryan

Yep, I guarantee that it won't come out in one piece. It will be so brittle, it will just crumble and will chunk out where the glue is still holding. When I replaced mine 10+ years ago, it came out in about 20 pieces. It is always worth a try though!!
