How do you remove the doors?
ican see how to do the lowewr pin, how do you get at the upper pin.
THE DOORS FIT PERFECTLY. So I dont want to mess with them to much.
But to do the body work right I need to get them off.
and while you guys are at it, how does the bed come of ?

Thank you in advance.
Man I just love this site.
P.S. I think/ no I know I'm addicted to this little LUV.
It is for my son. But, I am thinking about getting me a new toy.
Any nicer V8,s in the Chicago area, I would be interested.

When I took mine off, I took out the six hinge bolts and removed the door and hinges from the truck. Getting the door back on, and aligned properly, can be a trick, but it'll help if you mark the original hinge position before you loosen it up.

Inside on the kick panels each side you will find a small plate w small phillips screw top and bottom of the plate, remove those and the plate, and your door hinge bolts are in there, if you want to remove door and hinge, and as stated in above post.......MARK this stuff before you pull so you can put it back right where it is now  8)

On the bed.....I havent pulled one in awhile so I may not be exact here, but there are either 6 or 8 places where it bolts to the frame.....be prepared to get dirty LOL

The last time I pulled my doors I went with taking the doors off the hinges because it was easier to mark an outline of the hinge against the door. It has been a while though. I am needing to swap doors on my 77 here fairly soon so I may be fighting this battle myself.

I think there is 8 or 10 mounts for the bed. (compared to only 6 for the cab and front end) Be sure to unhook any wiring harness stuff before pulling it off, and it will probably be a good idea to lift it a couple of inches and then check for anything still hooked up. Don't forget the hoses leading to the fuel tank as well.
