 Post subject: v6 in a luv

hi i was woundering how hard it is to put a v6 in a luv. i have a 79 4x4 luv so i dont really want to have to switch out the trany t case and or axles. is there any adapters out there to put a v 6 motor onto the stock luv tranny? if so please help or if there is any one that could help me with getting this project started. and i dont have a ton of money thats why i dont want to have to switch out everything!! thanks i really need help!!!

Yea it is possible and if you look at the previous post than you can find someone who has done it. Personally i plan to put a 4.3 liter v6 out of a S10 in mine

i had a 231 buick in mine

too bad it wasnt turboed that would have been awsome
