After going to the mall and measuring several trucks I found a match for the Luv. I have purchased a cover for a 2000 Dodge Dakota because it has the same width.I will only have to alter one end of the fabric and the rails are aluminium and easy to work with.My truck has been shortened about ten inches so I bought one for a short bed.The rear rail does require the current notch increased about a 1/2 " on each side but this is all minor adjustments. Also you will have to bolt the rails to the side instead of using the clamps provided with the cover.

I just finished putting it on Fits like a glove. The rear piece has to be cut about 1 1/2" not 1/2" as I said earlier.I am not sure but I think the lenght will be real close to a standard short bed, but I need to know how long a short bed is.I have about 10" left and I think that is how much mine was shortened.I will send pics shortly.I used LeBra #938520301.

Milage still sucks but its fun to drive. Also it is still very much a project. The reason for the cover is to hide the inside of the bed until I decide what to do with the floor.I also have no dash yet, black primer and in need of bodywork, and alot of things are temporary until I can get some miles on it and see how everything is working out.The only crossmember left from the original Luv is the very front one that the lower control arm strut rods hook to.I have put over 300 miles on it this week and am planning to do a high gear chunk soon and keep the 4.11 for play and strip next spring.I am really wanting to put some miles on this truck. It still gets noticed ,I guess because you don't see Luv's too often, everyone is doing S-10's.
