I was wondering, since I am gonna have to order rims for the back of my truck, since the fronts are 6 lug and the rear is a ford 8in. 5 lug, and I want the rims to match. What is the widest rim that I can order w/ back spacing and all that kinda stuff. That will fit under the bed without rubbing. I would like to get the widest tire possible. THANKS!!

I think it will depend a little on the width of the rear. Gonna hafta break out a tape. prolly get a better idea then.

I just put a 10 bolt out of 66 Nova under mine, it's 58" wide exactly.
With 15x7 w/5.5 backspace Weld Draglites, 235/70 BFG's the tires stick out the fenders about 1/2" or so. I was a little bummed when I got the wheels. I figured 5.5 backspace=1.5 sticking out the front which would have fit under the fenders. However, Weld Draglites w/5.5 backspace actually stick out the front about 2.25-2.5". Oh well, they look good anyway. With my set up I figured I would maybe try a 235/60 MT Drag radial?
I think the perfect rear width would be 54-55, you could then fit 15x7 or 15x8 under the fenders.

I got a set of 10" rims 5 on 4.5 should fit no problem they ae black spokes with 26 10 michies on them and they are drilled for screws
Also have 2 15* 8 6 lug wheels I will get the modle of them and post
cleaning house free for the taking
