ok guys i need to know what radiator will fit in my 75 luv and how to mount it. i will post pics tomorrow of my current set up.

what my problem is i believe it is the stock rad from the 4 banger. as long as i drive it is fine and runs about 180 - 190. at a stop light if i have to sit for a few then it creeps up to 200-220. i have a electric 14 fan from proform and it runs the whole time the truck is running and has a 160 t stat in it.

the core support is notched for the crank pulley and the radiator sit tight between the braces that are right next to the hood hinges in the front. (the ones that look like two pieces running up and down where it bolts to the chassis). so it is a tight fit and it sits about 1/2 inch from the water pump. it has to have a long water pump cause the balancer is 1/8 of a inch from the swaybar and a swp pulley would be right where the sway bar is.

I have a Howe alum radiator, it is mounted into a custom frame that supports the entire frontend; headlights/fenders/grill. Look at Jeg's or Summit (I got mine from Summit for 206.00) they have an assortment of universal alum radiators from 150+. Howe/Afco/Griffin are all good brands you can't go wrong with. The Howe unit I bought is all hand made/welded, no epoxy. It runs 175-180 in traffic w/160 thermostat.
